Snarky Puppy has announced a new tour that will carry the Grammy-winning jazz-funk ensemble across the U.S. through early summer. A number of shows on the 21-date jaunt find the band providing opening support for Steely Dan.

The tour begins in Oxon Hill, MD on April 28th for a headlining show at The Theater at MGM National Harbor. A pair of headlining North Carolina shows follow in Raleigh (4/29) and Asheville (4/30) ahead of a set on the closing day of SweetWater 420 Fest in Atlanta, GA (5/1).

After a couple weeks off, Snarky Puppy links up with Steely Dan to open on a West Coast run. The stint begins in Portland, OR (5/20) and continues through Auburn, WA (5/21); Concord, CA (5/25); Hollywood, CA (5/27); and Chula Vista, CA (5/28). The bands then move through the Southwest with stops in Phoenix, AZ (5/31); Fort Worth, TX (6/2); and Woodlands, TX (6/3). Aimee Mann will then take over opening duties as Snarky Puppy returns to headlining performances.
