THIS HOME HAS TARPS UP OVER THE GARAGE, THE WINDOWS, SEVALER DOORS THAT WERE BLOWN OUT DURING THE TORNADO SHEEPDOG IMPACT ASSISTANCE HELPED IN NEIGHBORHOODS JUSTIK LE THIS ONE LAST WEEK. LAST WEEK, SHEEPDOG IMPACT ASSISTANCE HELPED PEOPLE WHO REWE IMPACTED BY THE TORDONA IN SPRINGDALE. USUALLY SHEEP DOG IS DEPLOYED ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR NATURAL DISASTERS LIKE WILDFIR,ES FLOODS, HURRICANES AND TORNADOES. BUT LAST WEEK WAS ONLYHE T THIRD TIME IN THE ORGANIZATION’S 12 YEAR HISTORY. THEY WERE DEPLOYED IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. AND THAT’S A BLESSING, RIGHT? THAT IT’S ONLY BEEN THERE TIMES IN 12 ARYES. BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IT IS A SPECIAL ENWH YOU CAN GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THAYOT U’RE HEADQUARTERED IN AND FOUND IT IN. SHEEPDOG SAYS ITS MEMBERS HELPED WITH CHAINSAWS AND CLEARING LIMBS AND DEBRIS, AND ALSO HELPED GIVE THE PELEOP IMPACTED A LITTLE BIT OF HOPE. THE END OF LAST WEEK, AFTER THE TORNADO HIT, WE HAD TEAMS GO IN TO ASSIST WITH THE RECOVERY EFFORT AND JUST START TO GIVE A LITTLE BIT OF HOPE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY. OF SPRINGDALE. THAT’S USUALLY THE BIGGEST PART OF A RECOVYER EFFORT IS PEOPLE FEELING LIKE THINGS WILL GET BETTER, SHEEPDOG SAYS. Several days after an EF-3 tornado hit parts of Fayetteville and Springdale, crews are still working to clean up the damage.For only the third time in its 12-year history, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance deployed in northwest Arkansas to help with disaster recovery in Springdale.Sgt. Maj. Lance Nutt, the CEO and founder of Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, said the group usually deploys across the country to help with natural disaster recovery.”This is only the third time in 12 years that we’ve truly been able to engage in assisting Northwest Arkansas in tornado or disaster recovery. That’s a blessing, right? That it’s only been three times in 12 years, but at the same time it’s special when you can give back to the community that you’re headquartered in and founded in,” Sgt. Maj. Nutt said.Sheep Dog members helped with chainsaws, clearing limbs and debris, but Nutt said the crews also helped give the people impacted a little bit of hope.”The tornado jumped across, skipped across Springdale, so there wasn’t a clear defined path.
