Jason Aaron Lowery, age 44, of Fayetteville, passed away at Windcrest Nursing and Rehab, Springdale, on Feb. 1, 2022. He was born April 21, 1977, in Oceanside, Calif. His parents are John Lowery and Linda Pyburn Lowery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Virgie Pyburn and JW Lowery; cousin, Brock Bowerman; uncles, Jackie Pyburn and Edward Pyburn.
Jason was a tremendous athlete, who excelled in basketball and loved to fish. He had a big heart and never met a stranger. He had many friends who referred to him as Big Hands.
He is survived by his parents, Linda Lowery and Danny Willis of London and John Lowery of Havana; grandmother, Imogene Lowery of Havana; siblings, Lorrie Ann Smith and Kevin, Jimmy Norwood Jr. and Teresa, Beckey Ghan and Jeff, Michael John Tucker; natural parents, Ann Owens and JJ Horner; aunts and uncles, Kenneth Pyburn and Sue, Linda Bowerman; and cousins, Shannon Bowerman and Jill, Kenny Pyburn and Lana, Mark Pyburn and Wendy, Natasha Raney and Brian, Lee Pyburn and Amanda, Mick Pyburn, and Jamie Pyburn; as well as several nieces, nephews and special friends, Rob Barron, Abby McCracken, Nate Bazinet and Sarah Blake.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
