- Stand-up comedian Brian Regan will perform at the Walton Arts Center in June. The Arts Center described Regan as one of the premier comedians in the country, and he currently has a Netflix special called “On the Rocks.” Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday. (KNWA)
- Benton County officials are hearing from local organizations hoping for some of the county’s American Rescue Plan money. Benton County will receive in total $54 million from the American Rescue Plan. Local organizations were asked to apply for some of the money if they could show they experience economic harm from the pandemic. (Westside Eagle Observer)
- City Council members agreed to spend $2 million on work at Luther George Park in Springdale, and the council will consider an additional $176,000 to upgrade the city’s recreation center. If approved, this would be the fourth center project since its purchase in late 2018. This park is considered a key component of the downtown area’s revitalization. (Arkansas Online)
